Faculty Development Course - Developing Simulations for Assessment

This one-day course has defined learning outcomes and encompasses information needed for faculty to develop simulation scenarios for formative and summative assessments.

This is an informal course with emphasis on understanding the processes involved in writing and using simulation scenarios for formative or summative learner assessment. The course offers the opportunity to discuss ideas and challenges as well as to work on and develop simulation assessments.

Pre requisite - Essentials of Simulation Course

Please bring your scenarios and assessment ideas as well as the assessment criteria for modules with you to work on this in the session along with any relevant clinical algorithms and practice standards.
