How does the white elephant gift exchange work?

• Each attendee must bring a gift with a value of up to $30.
• Names will be drawn randomly to determine the order of gift opening and stealing.
• The first person picks a gift to unwrap.
• Subsequent persons can pick a new gift to unwrap or steal a previous gift.
• If someone’s gift is stolen, they can choose to unwrap or steal.
• Each gift can be stolen a maximum of 2 times.
• Once the last person has picked or stolen, the first person gets the option to steal.
