This workshop explores the many faces of divinity through the lens of archaeology, art history, and pagan ritual practice. We will examine gods and goddesses from diverse cultures by studying their iconography, symbols, and sculptural forms—unpacking how these images communicated power, identity, myth, and magic. Through artifacts, statuary, and ancient artistic conventions, we will trace how sacred symbols evolved, how deities were represented across time, and how these visual traditions continue to influence witchcraft and modern pagan practices today. From votive figures to ritual tools, we will uncover the cultural histories embedded in sacred art and discuss how these ancient motifs are used in contemporary magical work, and devotional rites.Just a reminder: Please reserve your seats for the Monthly Thoth Circle classes.
