Celebrate our nation's fabulous First Ladies and join the National First Ladies Library & Museum for a special First Ladies Brunch in Naples, Florida!
Our special guest is Anita McBride, former chief of staff to First Lady Laura Bush. Mrs. Bush herself will be sending a personal video message to share with our guests, and Ms. McBride will discuss her new book: Remember the First Ladies: The Legacies of America's History-Making Women.
Ms. McBride is Director of the First Ladies Initiative at American University, School of Public Affairs. She has served in three U.S. presidential administrations at the White House and Department of State and WAS chief of staff to first lady of the United States Laura Bush.
Books will be available for purchase online and at the event; Ms. McBride will be signing copies that day. All proceeds benefit the National First Ladies Library & Museum at the First Ladies National Historic Site. The museum holds over 5,000 artifacts related to our nation's First Ladies and is dedicated to telling the story of American history through the eyes of these remarkable women.
