About this Event
A mixed media textiels collage class pulling several techniques in! Explore natural dyeing focusing primarily on dye materials that can be found at home, like onion skins, flowers, and spices. Participants will apply a painted wax resist gently inspired by roketsuzome to their dyed pieces. Our wax and dyeing experiments will culminate into a fabric collage inspired by life or imagination!
This class is taught by visiting artist-in-residence Guadalupe Najar. Lupe joins us for June and July from Austin, TX. You can learn more about her here!
This class is held in the Art Barn at our Art Farm location at 45 Hawthorne Lane. Directions and parking information will be included in your confirmation email.
Schedule: Saturday, June 20th and Sunday June 21st from 10am-2pm.

If you register more than three weeks before this class begins, a 20% early bird discount will automatically be applied to your ticket at checkout.

Sustaining tickets help us continue to invest in programming. Full price tickets cover the costs associated with running classes. If you can pay the full price or sustaining price, please choose that option so we can keep providing arts programming to the community.
