So this is a thing. I'm giving a talk about the different types of materials that are commonly used in our clothes, and how they are made. I've been thinking about textile waste and wondering why it can't be recycled. A lot like plastics, fabrics are often made of a blend of two or more different types of materials, so it can be tricky to return it back to its original state. Come and join me as I learn with you about the different fabrics found in our clothes, what they're made of and what is the likely outcome of them once we no longer use them.
