Fab Lab Summer Camp: Airbrush Art & Design
Unleash your creativity this summer with our Airbrush Art & Design Camp at the Fab Lab! This hands-on program introduces campers to the exciting world of airbrush painting—where technology, art, and imagination come together.
Throughout the week, students will learn how to safely use professional airbrush tools while exploring techniques for shading, blending, stenciling, masking, and creating bold color effects. Campers will design and paint their own custom artwork on items such as T-shirts, canvas panels, tote bags, and more.
With guidance from our Fab Lab instructors, participants will experiment with different styles—from graffiti-inspired graphics to soft-blended illustrations—building confidence in both artistic expression and tool handling.
By the end of camp, every student will take home a collection of personalized airbrushed creations and the skills to continue exploring airbrush art on their own.
Skills & Activities Include:
- Intro to airbrush equipment & safety
- Color theory and blending techniques
- Stencil cutting and masking methods
- Designing custom apparel and accessories
- Creating layered, multi-color airbrush artwork
- Final showcase of student work
Perfect for young artists ready to explore a high-energy medium and bring their ideas to life in vibrant color!
Participants should be at least 8 years old to participate within this camp. Proper attire is also needed. No open toed shoes or loose clothing. No “dangling” jewelry and all hair will need to be tied back. Due to tech availability, not all departments will be open each day.

The Fab Lab is a place where students can build science, technology, engineering and math skills through hands on learning. Participating in Fab Lab activities allow students to explore and experiment with digital fabrication technology including 3D Printers, Laser Cutters, and Vinyl Cutters.
