Join the Friends of African American Art & Culture (FAAAC) for an unforgettable evening blending music, art, and culture in celebration of Keith Haring: Radiant Vision. Designed and hosted by Preach Jacobs — MC and founder of SoulHAUS Art Gallery — Beyond the Beat explores the dynamic relationship between hip-hop culture and contemporary fine art through the lens of Keith Haring’s groundbreaking work.
After a vinyl listening session featuring classic ’90s hip-hop and R&B tracks, Jacobs guides guests on a gallery tour through Haring’s influence and deep connection to street culture, social resistance, and rhythm-driven visual storytelling. Come vibe and dig into the beats and brushstrokes that shaped a generation, honoring Haring’s legacy as an artist who moved beyond the canvas and into the cultural pulse of the streets.
