TICKETS: bit.ly/F2xPainMagazineThe techno-punk soundtrack to an upcoming apocalypse, Pain Magazine rises from a raw winter collision, a casual studio session spiralling into an album forged over sixteen relentless days, radiating with electrifying intensity; a cry of rage carried by haunting vocals, mesmerising guitars and devastating choruses; Violent God unifies their two worlds with grace and precision, as Alternative Press said.
Post-hardcore weight locks into industrial techno’s machine pulse and Quentin Sauvé’s stripped-back melodic presence, while Louisahhh’s unhinged roar teeters between victim and villain, probing a charged void of belief, worship and blame. “Do I believe in a violent god? You make me believe,” cuts through the storm of guitars and electronics, an interrogation that feels both intimate and political, born of lives steeped in DIY ethics, evolving creation and sadness hidden in plain sight. From this near-accident emerges something sharper and bloodier, yet reaching for real human connection amid the pain.
Pain Magazine are debuting in Prague at F2 on Thursday, April 30.
