Ghost Cop make “feel-bad dance music,” pairing punishing beats with haunted melodies so the demons can come out and move.
Lucy Swope and Sean Dack draw on B-movies, horror soundtracks, and a cinematic sense of space, turning personal encounters with depression and mental illness into dystopian dance pieces and shadowed anthems. Their songs are built as scenes, made for moving through the night with the world outside feeling like part of the film.
Ghost Cop are coming for the first time to Prague’s Fuchs2 on Wednesday, April 15. As a special guest recommended by Sanctuary, Ashen Decay brings in fuse darkwave beats and melancholic tones with Robo Paterlini and PlagueDoctor live.
