Participants will learn a structured process for introducing and facilitating expressive activities, experience hands-on practice with a variety of techniques, and discuss practical strategies for involving parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process. 2. Describe how to prepare for an expressive arts session.
3. Demonstrate 4 levels of processing expressive arts in play therapy with pre-teens and teens.

Info: 4. Define at least 4 categories of expressive arts activities (e.g., music, art, sandtray, and writing).
5. Identify their own readiness to facilitate each of the expressive arts categories in play therapy with pre-teens and teens.
6. Describe key considerations for communicating with caregivers about pre-teen and adolescent progress in play therapy.
