Express yourself and tell your own story. We will begin with loose, gestural life drawings with a clothed model and then use some of those sketches to begin a unique painting using unusual compositions, painting, collage, drawing, whatever you like.
Students will walk away with several developed sketches and a head-start on a couple of paintings with Roberta's help.
One-time model fee of $5 payable to Art on 30th (see front desk upon arrival).
Supply List:
- Sketch paper, newsprint or whatever you have, but no smaller than 18x24.
- Something to support your paper on an easel - a sketch board, heavy cardboard, etc.
- Vine charcoal or crayons, soft lead pencils, pens.
- One or two 20x20 or 24x24 or larger canvases or boards.
- Paints, collage material, charcoal, pencils, pens, crayons, etc.
Workshop Info:
- Cost $115 + $5 model fee
- Sunday, September 29th from 1pm-4:30pm
- Max 12 students
- All skill levels welcome
- Age level: adult (18 & up)
