'Almost Flawless' is part of the Theatre of the Absurd. The play revolves around the two main characters, one actor and another a writer, with haunting pasts and their pitiful wait for Hope to arrive. Both admit to being happier when apart. This raises the question of why they stay together and continue their relationship and why they need each other then. They are trapped within a world of theirs and are waiting for something or someone, and while waiting, they engage in a variety of discussions. The play is about two lost and lonely souls who have nothing in the world but each other. Both have slipped into homelessness and despair. Their haunting pasts and their pitiful wait is for Chalib-Gablin to come and take them along to Sukoon Shehar-Haq Nagri. Essentially, they want to escape from the tolerantly intolerant society. The play is a black comedy with the happenings, events, and contemporary social evils of India as its premise. The play that seems about nothing is about everything and everyone.
