Exposomics: a new omic to address the non-genetic drivers of health and disease
About the event
Exposomics is a new field that is designed to provide a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the non-genetic drivers of human disease. Genetic scan only explain a minority of chronic human diseases and does not provide insight into health disparities. In contrast, our complex environment is responsible for a wide range of human diseases and disparate outcomes.
