About this Event
Join us Feb 9, Feb 10, or both, to gaze into Death Valley's dark night sky.
Death Valley nights are amazing! Death Valley has been honored by being designated an International Dark Sky Park. When the sky is dark and clear (no moon, no clouds) an astounding array of stars dazzle the eye, a display that needs to be seen to be believed. And there is more up there than just stars!
Using binoculars can give your nighttime observations that extra edge, providing a close-up view of deep sky objects that are unrecognizable to the naked eye and unlocking a new layer of the vast beyond. Binocular Stargazing is the perfect way to see the night sky through new eyes.
Join experienced night sky viewers Kimber Moore and Tim Kendziorski as they teach us how to explore this wonderous Death Valley night sky.
This program combines a small group with knowledgeable staff and access to a restricted area of the park. Learn more about the new Dark Sky viewing area.
Come and be amazed!
