About this Event
Explore the cosmos with night sky enthusiasts, Kimber Moore and Tim Kendziorski, and their 20-inch Obsession reflector telescope – a top of the line expertly-crafted telescope with a very large aperture and very, very large, premium coated mirror. You would need to go to an observatory for a better view of the universe.

This program combines a small group with knowledgeable staff, professional equipment, and access to a restricted area of the park. Truly a unique experience not to be missed.
This program is provided by the Death Valley Institute (DVI), the educational division of the Death Valley Natural History Association (DVNHA).

Each participant is required to sign a Participant Agreement.
PROGRAM DETAILS
Meet at the flagpole in front of the Visitor Center by 6:45 pm.
Please bring a filled-in and signed Participant Agreement for each individual.
Group will caravan in personal vehicles to viewing area.
The location is less than 1 mile North of the Furnace Creek Visitor Center followed by a short distance on a gravel road.
What to Bring:
- Binoculars
- Flashlight with Red Filter
- Camp Chair
- Layered Clothing it could be cold and/or windy
- 30-40 degree Night Sky Planisphere (Optional)
