The Slovak-American Cultural Center in cooperation with the Czechoslovak Arts and Sciences (SVU) invite you on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 7:00pm to Bohemian National Hall - Cinema for the premiere of The Boss – Aconcagua, an inspiring new documentary by award-winning astrobiologist, explorer, and filmmaker Dr. Michaela Musilova. This film takes you on Michaela’s extraordinary expedition to Aconcagua, the tallest mountain in South America, where she weaves together breathtaking adventure, cutting-edge science, and a deeply personal story of resilience. As part of her groundbreaking Astro Seven Summits project in collaboration with NASA, Michaela combines mountaineering with research, education, and student outreach—bringing space science to life in some of the planet’s most extreme environments.
The evening will feature a pre-film discussion with Dr. Musilova, the film screening, followed by a post-film Q&A and networking reception to follow. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness her journey on the big screen and hear directly from one of today’s most visionary explorers.
