About this Event
This session is about the process of considering respite services and preparing for them. It includes information about types of respite, how to access services, and strategies for preparing for respite. Participants will also be supported to recognise their emotions and share any concerns about respite.
Suitable for: People living with dementia and their family carers and family members. This session is not intended as professional education for workers employed in the health or aged care sectors.
Dementia Australia's facilitators have specialist dementia knowledge, skills and experience. This session is delivered interactively, you will be encouraged to share your experiences alongside other participants giving you an opportunity to develop new support networks.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It is ideal if you can bring your ticket. However, if you have completed your registration we will have your details and forgetting your ticket won’t be a problem.
