About this Event
The third Exploring Orthodoxy event will be conducted by The Good Shepherd Orthodox Church at Monash University on Sunday 23rd November 2025, under the patronage and presence of His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios. It is an open day and a conference wrapped into one.
Join us for the day and experience Orthodox Christian worship in the form of Matins and a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy in the English language, hear internationally-recognised speakers on Orthodox spirituality, meet other explorers, and browse the bookshop. A light lunch will be served after the Liturgy and before the afternoon program.
As the year 2025 is the 1700th anniversary of the formulation of the Nicene Creed (325 AD), which is central to Orthodox Christian belief, faith and life, this is the theme each speaker will be expanding on in the afternoon.
To book your lunch, visit www.thegoodshepherd.org.au. Bookings are essential for lunch! No lunch packs will be available for purchase on the day. BYO food allowed.
