About this Event
LEADING IMPACTFUL CHANGE IN HEALTH SCIENCES EDUCATION
We live in a time of unmatched disruption to higher education. The ways in which we teach, and the modes of engagement of our students have been affected by the recent pandemic, the rise of generative artificial intelligence, and the learnings from an expanding body of high quality educational research. These drivers represent an opportunity to reframe the education of health professionals and scientists, using research-informed innovations that help our graduates thrive. However, leading change is not easy. In this lecture, the why, what and how of educational innovation and implementation will be explored using reflections from personal experience and relevant literature.
