In this new class offering students will explore the landscape genre through reflection on works and artists from art history. We will complete a series of guided exercises and compositions, using a variety of wet and dry 2-d media which may include watercolor, pastel, oil pastel, and
collage. Students are encouraged to complete their landscape journey through a self-directed project using their choice of media and visual references. No prior art experience is necessary, just a willingness to try different materials and techniques!
