Thu, Jan 15, 2026 - Mar 5, 2026This class will be an introduction to monotype and relief printmaking techniques and processes. We will begin by undertaking a series of guided projects and activities, which may include gel printing, creating a numbered edition, reduction printing, and basic registration techniques. The last sessions will be used for personal exploration of the students’ choice of techniques and methods. No prior printmaking experience is necessary. Please understand that printmaking is potentially messy, and that sharp tools will be used.
Good to know:
Printmaking is potentially messy and inks often can stain clothing or skin. Please wear clothing that is ok to get dirty and/or bring a smock to cover up.
