About this Event
An evening for filmmakers & film enthusiasts curious about Extended Reality (XR) and immersive storytelling.
During this session the group will explore how immersive media can expand cinematic language, from 360° film and virtual production to interactive storytelling formats. Through live demos, discussion, and practical exercises, we’ll examine how traditional film practice can evolve into immersive experiences.
Together, we will:
- Explore different types of immersive media and XR formats.
- Experience festival-selected immersive film demos.
- Reimagine scenes from existing films as immersive environments.
- Experiment with accessible no-code tools for immersive storytelling.
By the end of the session, participants will:
- Understand key immersive storytelling formats.
- Experience at least two XR approaches and tools.
- Leave with practical ideas to apply immersive techniques in their own film projects.
