About this Event
Join Pantry Tales X Extra Piñata for an immersive artistic workshop that combines the joy of playfulness with the depth of self-exploration.
In a world quick to label and define, the journey to understanding our true selves and finding a sense of belonging can often feel elusive. This workshop invites you to embark on a transformative exploration of identity, extending beyond societal labels to uncover the depths of who you truly are. Through a series of therapeutic art based exercises, we'll venture into the realms of self-expression and collective insight, challenging our perceptions and expanding our sense of self.
Event Agenda:
?Painting our identities on canvas: Individually, we will translate our identity into visual forms without using words as we explore the language of art.
?Collective Sharing: Experience the power of the community through a participatory activity (there is no better way of explaining this, you just gotta try it).
?Narrative Writing: Piece together a personal poem using the perspective gathered from the community and this is where the real magic happens.
Whats included:
- All workshop equipment/ art supplies
- Margarita cocktails served by the lovely too easy team (we will have non-alocholic options available)
- Canapés by Chef Katie Neofetou (vegan & vegetarian options available)
- New community to vibe & connect with!
Where: This in-person event will be held upstairs at The Carpenter's Arms, 12 Seymour Place, London, W1H 7NE.
When: Sunday, April 28th - 12pm to 3pm.

More about Pantry Tales:
Pantry Tales is a collective dedicated to redefining the narrative between creativity, food and wellness. With a mission to craft immersive experiences where various modalities from the realms of creativity, culinary arts, and wellbeing seamlessly converge. Rooted in a deep desire to foster connections, our events are dedicated to uniting individuals with one another and, most importantly, with themselves.
More about Extra Piñata:
Victoria Ng, is a multi-potential designer and play coach, always drawing inspiration from the stories of life - the awkward bits, the uncertainties, and all their complexities. Deeply inspired by the intersection between creativity and mental wellbeing, it led her to write her thesis on 'Designing for Emotional Resilience' and earn a Certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy, where she discovered the profound impact art can have on our wellbeing.
With her work at Extra Piñata, she aims to inspire others to play, imagine, create, and connect. She believes playing isn't just a child's game or an outlet for relaxation; it's a creative and soothing path to healing and reigniting our natural curiosity. In the hustle of adult life, we often forget how important play is, and Victoria's on a mission to reignite the joy of play.
