About this Event
What does it mean to live well in a secular world?
For many people who identify as non-religious, questions about belonging, meaning, and emotional support can take on unique forms. Without traditional religious structures, where do we turn for community, understanding, and care?
This session in the Exploring Humanism series invites participants to reflect on the relationship between mental well-being, human connection, and secular life. Together, we will explore how supportive communities can be built through shared values, open dialogue, and mutual care.
Through guided conversation and reflection, we will discuss:
• The importance of belonging and social connection for mental well-being
• The challenges and opportunities faced by people in secular communities
• How humanistic values can contribute to healthier and more compassionate societies
This session is not a lecture, but a conversation space, a welcoming environment where people can share experiences, listen to different perspectives, and reflect together on what it means to live well.
Whether you identify as humanist, atheist, agnostic, secular, or simply curious about these questions, you are warmly invited to join the discussion.
Let’s explore together how well-being, community, and meaning can be cultivated in a secular world.
