Exploring Greek Folk MusicDescription:
In this workshop, I invite you to a first encounter with the musical and poetic beauty and diversity of the traditions of Greece.
Through three wonderful tunes/songs, each with its own distinct rhythmic and melodic structure, participants will have the opportunity to explore musical instruments and their voices in new ways and to make music together.
As the workshop facilitator, drawing on my many years of experience in musical ensembles, I will share practical methods for learning these tunes quickly and arranging them collaboratively, so that we can enjoy a complete and rewarding musical experience.
The workshop is open to all levels, all musical instruments, and, of course, singing is for everyone!
The workshop will be held in English.
