About this Event
2 session class, June 9&16, 10am-noon
Gouache paint is a versatile artist’s medium that has been used for centuries, and for good reason. This medium combines the best qualities of several painting traditions. It offers the water-based cleanup of watercolor, the quick-drying convenience of acrylic, and the rich, opaque color of oil.
In this workshop, Jane will teach her approach to painting with gouache and share practical insights into how it can be used to create expressive, vibrant works.
All levels welcome—no prior experience is required, and experienced painters are equally welcome. A list of preferred materials will be provided upon registration. Consultation with the instructor on materials and sources will be available in advance of class.
