The Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Public Cleanliness is collaborating with Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta, to organise a day full of activities at Salina on Saturday, May 16, as part of the Saving Our Blue Campaign. 🌿🌊The public is invited to explore Salina’s unique coastal and wetland environment, while learning how nature conservation, cultural heritage and sustainability are closely connected to the protection of our seas and coasts, also with the support of EU funds.
Through activities such as a Wetland Roundtrip guided by BirdLife Malta, Bird Observation sessions, virtual reality (VR) sessions by Saving Our Blue and Birdlife, guided tours by Heritage Malta at the Salini Catacombs, a guided visit by Ambjent Malta Rangers at BirdPark Malta, and information stalls by different entities, the public can learn to appreciate our natural habitats and learn about the importance of safeguarding such habitats and historical assets for present and future generations.
Participation is free of charge, but registration is highly recommended.
