Join Sweet Streets and our community partners for a day of exploration on Salt Lake City's 9-Line Trail! This high-comfort pedestrian and cycling route is perfect for all ages and abilities, and home to local shops, restaurants, parks and so much more! Check in at stations along the trail for your chance to win cool prizes, and to learn about the exciting projects coming to Salt Lake City's walkable neighborhoods.
This is Sweet Street's 2nd annual Explore the 9-Line event, and 5th annual Spring walking and cycling event (formerly "Bike/Walk SLC"). Participants are invited to self-guide along the 9-Line Trail between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., or join Sweet Streets at 10 a.m. at Scion Cider to kick off the day with a guided 2-mile walking tour through the Central Ninth and Ballpark Neighborhoods, demonstrating the negative impacts of freeway access and the ongoing work to dig SLC out from under the shadow of I-15.
