Duo LiCo enchants us with word sculptures, drawing us into musical spaces full of longing and grace, vastness and depth, into other worlds and times. Improvisation as a female force of nature.

Gesine Conrad is a cellist who has already made a name for herself with various formations. She excels in chamber music as well as in avant-garde performances, takes up far eastern themes, improvises, vocalises, follows her compositions as well as the spontaneity of the moment. As a soloist as well as in duo, quartet or larger ensembles, she performs in concerts, at readings, exhibitions, in experimental settings with dance or percussion, as an accompanist to silent films, in radio plays and theater.

Klara Linthe is a multi-talent. As a Berlin artist, she exerts a great attraction, whether she conceives her jewellery exhibitions with avant-garde performances, she recites her delicate yet powerful poems to temperate live electronics, being her own best model as a costume designer or whether she celebrates events for and with colleagues from all disciplines in her Prenzlberg studio salon “bel étage Amarantha Qi”. She says modestly: “We don’t know art, we just try to make everything as beautiful as possible.” (Balinese quote from Andradi)
