Transport for NSW Maritime are hosting an expired flare collection. Boaties are encouraged to utilise this service to safely and simply surrender their expired or unwanted flares for free. Disposing of flares properly reduces the risk of accidental discharge and ensures hazardous items are handled safely.
An additional collection point will be held at Cockle Creek Boat Ramp, Speers Point earlier in the day from 10:30am - 12:30pm.
