About this Event
M2D2’s new Experts-in-Residence (EIR) Program brings seasoned industry professionals directly to our Lowell space to meet with startups. These drop-in sessions give founders practical guidance on everything from regulatory strategy and IP to fundraising, accounting, prototyping, and go-to-market planning. Sessions are held in-person on the third floor at 110 Canal.

Featuring: Ibraheem “Ib” Badejo, MedTech Executive, Innovator, and Entrepreneur
Ib Badejo is a seasoned MedTech leader with 20+ years of experience driving innovations from concept to commercialization. He has held pivotal leadership roles, including at Johnson & Johnson, with a focus on external innovation, early-stage investments and partnerships, and R&D leadership. His expertise spans technology assessment, M&A, deal sourcing, regulatory strategy, and MedTech ecosystem expansion.
He also brings deep regulatory experience, having supported U.S. and international approvals for Class I, Class II, and PMA medical devices, both implantable and non-implantable. An inventor on 27 U.S.-granted patents (with additional applications pending) and a contributor to multiple peer-reviewed publications, Ib is also passionate about global health initiatives, social impact investing, and mentoring startups.
