"Expert Of..." is a long-form improv show where we first interview an Expert in their Field. Between the short interviews, we have a talented set of improvisers who utilize the Expert’s answers to inspire their hilarious scene work. Time allowing, we open the floor to the audience to ask the Expert questions.
Over the years, our Experts have included a Pulitzer Prize-winning Presidential Photographer, a Sommelier from a Michelin Two-Star Restaurant, a Community Composter, a Luxury Watch Repair Technician, The Curator of The Hollyhock House and a Head Coffee Roaster.
For our show on March 12, 2026, our Expert Of...Veterinary Medicine is Dr. Julia Popish!!
Dr. Popish has been a veterinarian since 2019, though she grew up around the profession; her dad and grandfather were both vets, too! Her focus is on small animals - dogs and cats - which keep her busy as she provides surgical, dental and comprehensive medical care to the pets of LA. She has also spent 4 years as a “Virtual Veterinarian” and was one of the first to provide telemedicine to pets starting in 2020. When she is not in the clinic, she’s probably entertaining her own crazy dog, Phoebe.
About the Show Producers:
Jack Ireland-Jack is an actor, improviser and producer. He produced and acted in the Indie Feature, "Best Man Dead Man" which premiered at the Dances with Films Festival and is currently available on Amazon Prime Video. Jack has also been on a Resident Improv Team at the Westside Comedy theater for over eight years.
Robyn Lynne Norris-Robyn is an actor, writer, improviser and producer. She has toured the world performing improv and sketch comedy including iO (Chicago and iO West), the Second City (Chicago, Las Vegas, Hollywood) and The Westside Comedy Theatre. She is the creator of the play "#DateMe" which ran to sold out audiences for six years in Los Angeles, Chicago and Off-Broadway.
Atul Singh-Atul is an actor, writer, improviser and producer. As an actor, he was recently seen on "Shrinking," "S.W.A.T.," "Matlock," "Hacks," "Criminal Minds," and "The Family Business." Atul performs improv with Pretty Pretty Pony at the Westside Comedy Theater. He is also the producer of the long-running, Emmy-nominated YouTube series "Epic Rap Battles of History".
The Live Show has also led to a proof-of-concept Pilot that is currently available on YouTube.
