Join us at the Harwood Nature Center in the Lawrence Wetlands Preserve as we close out the first session of Sultana’s Community Classroom program by welcoming the incredible words and music of local institution: “Chesapeake Scenes”
In the 1990’s Tom McHugh and Andy McCown recorded Chesapeake Scenes I, The Bay in words and Music…in the winter of 2025 McCown and company recorded a new collection, Chesapeake Scenes II, along with multiple local guests artists. The project was made possible through the generous funding of the Hedgelawn Foundation, Andrew and Leslie Price, Ann Huessener, and Julia and Sally McHugh. (Both collections are now available on most digital platforms, allowing all to continue to connect with, The Bay in Words and Music.)
