An in conversation event with Anthony Findlay
About this Event

Thursday 15 January 2026
5pm to 6pm (networking 4pm to 5pm / 6pm to 7pm)

Experience Oxfordshire invites you to hear from Anthony Findlay, President of RGLive and Senior Vice President of Sony Music Masterworks, in conversation with Richard Venables, head of the Oxford office for CBRE.

From concerts to illuminated trails, RGLive creates world-class events and unforgettable experiences. Their work spans iconic venues and partners from Blenheim Palace and the Ministry of Sound to London’s Royal Albert Hall and the New York City Ballet, and productions including The Music of Zimmer vs Williams, Paddington, and Rocketman.

Born into the arts, Anthony, son of Paul Findlay, Director of The Royal Opera Covent Garden, turned to the ‘dark side’ at the age of nineteen and entered the world of commercial promoting. Learning from prominent promoters of the time, Michael Edgely (Australasia) and Harvey Goldsmith (UK), he joined Raymond Gubbay in 1991. Thirty-four years later, having at some point headed up almost every department and with the company having become a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Music, Anthony was made President of the re-branded RGLive in 2024, also taking on a wider role within the expanding live entertainment group as Senior Vice President, Sony Music Masterworks.

Join us to hear Anthony share his journey and stories, with opportunities for networking both before and after the in conversation event.

Please note this event is free for partners of Experience Oxfordshire and invited guests. Non-partners of Experience Oxfordshire are welcome to attend at a fee of £59 + vat.
