About this Event
Experience Forest Bathing With a Certified Guide
Step into nature and unwind with our in-person forest bathing session! Join a certified guide who will help you connect deeply with the woods around you. It's all about slowing down, breathing in fresh air, and soaking up the calming vibes of the forest. Perfect for anyone looking to de-stress and refresh their mind. No experience needed. Just bring yourself and an open mind.
What Is Forest Bathing?
Forest bathing (Shinrin-yoku) isn't hiking. It isn't exercise. It's the practice of slowing right down and letting the natural world in — through your senses, your breath, and your body.
You'll move slowly. You'll stop often. And somewhere along the way, the mental noise starts to fade, and you remember what it feels like to just be.
What Will the Experience Be Like?
Each walk includes a series of open-ended sensory invitations — not activities, not tasks. Just gentle prompts to notice what's around you, within you, and between you and the living world. We gather together after each invitation and then at the end for tea.
Why Walk With a Guide?
In forest bathing, we say: the forest is the therapist, and the guide opens the door.
Time in nature on your own is always worthwhile. But research shows that working with a trained guide deepens the experience through structured invitations, space for reflection, and knowledge of the practice and its science.
