October 10th, 7-9pm, St. Michael's Printshop
Our Don Wright Scholar, Levana Katz, has been making an incredible body of work throughout her residency here with us. So incredible in fact, that it would be a complete disservice to yourself if you did not come and check it out as a lover of all things printmaking!!😁
About the exhibition:
Where the Ground Remembers You Twice is an exhibition by Levana Katz developed during the 2024 Don Wright Scholarship at St. Michael’s Printshop. The work explores how physical spaces shape our memories as we simultaneously leave impressions on our environments. Featuring techniques such as lithography, silkscreen, cyanotype, and monotype — reimagined through sewing, collage, and repetition — the works presented relay the rhythm of movement and the physicality of memory.
