Amethyst Storytelling: Stories by 2SLGBTQIA+ Writers and Poets is coming to Eastern Edge Gallery on Thursday, October 10 from 8 PM - 10 PM! This showcase will feature the incredible voices of local Newfoundland and Labrador 2SLGBTQIA+ authors, poets, playwrights, and spoken word artists, diving deep into the diverse experiences of the community.With mature themes and emotional storytelling, this 19+ event is a celebration of identity, resilience, artistic expression, and creative writing. Don’t miss out on this powerful night of stories that explore the wide spectrum of 2SLGBTQIA+ writing and spoken word.

QUARTZ FEST
This event is part of Quartz Fest, Newfoundland and Labrador's newest festival celebrating the work of 2SLGBTQIA+ artists in Newfoundland and Labrador. The festival will take place across the island during the first three weeks of October. It will celebrate several artistic disciplines including spoken word, written word, drag, music, visual art, digital art, and more. The festival will showcase artists at varying stages of their careers including new, amateur, emerging, and established artists.
