FLAT FILES is an interactive archive and exhibition series presented by Pierogi in partnership with Monira Foundation and Mana Contemporary. Featuring approximately 300 portfolios of original works on paper, the project invites visitors to explore and experience the artworks directly—creating an intimate, self-guided viewing experience rarely found in traditional gallery settings.
Inclusive by design, Flat Files showcases a wide cross-section of contemporary practice, from emerging to established artists. In addition to the portfolios, the exhibition includes salon-style installations and larger complementary works. First launched at Pierogi in Brooklyn in 1994, the Flat Files has grown to include more than 800 artists and has been presented at major institutions nationwide and internationally, evolving in dialogue with each host community.
This edition highlights the work of over 30 artists from the Mana Contemporary community.
