The 100 Years of Golcar Guides Exhibition will feature a myriad of photos of past Guides, examples of the Guide uniform from three different eras, a range of activity and challenge badges from across the years demonstrating the changes over time, memories and statements from present Golcar Guides, information about a former Chief Guide who started her Guiding career in Golcar, and photos and information about Miss North, the founding member of Golcar Guides.Museum entry £5 Adults, accompanying children free (20th, 21st September admission

We would love to welcome you to the museum where you can discover what life was like in about 1840 when the cottages were inhabited by families of handloom weavers. Volunteers, in contemporary costume, demonstrate various crafts including spinning, weaving and clogging, and will explain to you what life was like in the cottages.
Our Spring Rock Tea Room is open for refreshments and homemade cakes each weekend 12-4pm
