This interactive workshop explores the role movement plays in supporting physical and emotional well-being during perimenopause. First, participants will learn how hormonal changes affect the body — and why specific types of exercise can alleviate symptoms like low energy and mood changes. Second, participants will practice gentle, low-key exercises that they can easily integrate into their daily life so they can feel better, even in the midst of hormonal havoc.Please wear clothes that are comfortable to move around in.
About the instructor: Dr. Lizzie Barnett is a social scientist and certified personal trainer with expertise in health behavior, health communication, and exercise. Through her business, Lizzie’s Health Club, she brings mobile personal training, comprehensive healthy living consulting, and health care navigation to Northampton and surrounding towns.
