Join Masterchef contestant, award-winning cookbook author, TV chef (This Morning, Steph's packed lunch) and local Hertfordshire celebrity, Theo Michaels, for this one-of-a-kind fun-filled cooking demonstration & lunch experience! Places strictly limited and sell fast so don't miss out!
Relax in our beautiful courtyard kitchen garden, chilled drink in hand & watch as Theo prepares and cooks mouth-wateringly delicious Summer entertaining dishes, then gather around our Chef's table' to enjoy a sumptious and relaxing long lunch. Use Theo's chef tips and tricks to impress your friends and family at home.

A superb alfresco lunch, cooked live in the TOKC outdoor kitchen courtyard using BBQ's & wood-fired pizza ovens, with plenty of opportunity to interact throughout.
The experience includes:
🔥 Cooking demo Summer BBQ food - learn how to recreate some wonderful dishes at home for family and friends on both the grill and in the pizza oven. (There will be plenty of vegetarian dishes and a nod to Theo's Greek/Cypriot heritage.)
🔥 Includes a welcome drink, Summer TOKC Cocktail, glass of prosecco or fine wine/premium soft drink (further drinks available to purchase - we will have specially selected wines) chilled filtered water available throughout
🔥 Enjoy a long lunch of these tasty dishes in our private & atmospheric courtyard garden
Sample menu (dishes subject to minor changes)
- Asian Mussels in lime, chilli, ginger, coconut milk, cooked in iron skillet in our pizza oven served with fresh bread
- Blackened leeks (cooked directly on coals then peeled to reveal sweet and soft interior) with Romesco (roasted pepper) sauce
- Grilled whole aubergine with chorizo honey dressing (Sauce made in pan on grill; chorizo wilted with Spanish wine, honey and reduced then drizzled over aubergine)
- Bavette steak, flash cooked on coals served with chipotle Adobo Pico de Galo salsa.
- Whole stuffed Trout (grilled and baked on the Big Green Egg)
- Whole halloumi cheese in apricot jam
- Plum (or blueberry) tarte-tatin cooked in skillet served with charcoal whipped Chantilly cream

Please note that due to the nature of the cooking demo event unfortunately we are unable to cater for individual dietary requirements but please ensure you make us awarein advance of any allergies. Our events are currently limited to a capacity of 12 as we have a covered dining area in case of rain. This event will be photographed for marketing purposes and used on TOKC's social media and website. Please let us know prior to the event if you wish to opt out of this.
