Exclusive Screening of “Raising Up” – A Student Parent Film Series

1 in 5 undergraduate students in the United States are parents. Student parents face both systemic and personal barriers on their path to earning a postsecondary credential. The path to earning a credential is not only inspiring to student parents’ families, but can tell a powerful story about the ways in which postsecondary education leaders, policymakers and community partners can support this growing number of learners.

The private film screening will be followed by a discussion about the realities facing student parents featuring a student parent, the film producer, and higher education and policy leaders.
