WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Consultation and case acceptance
Understand a structured consultation process that guides patients toward high value treatment options, improves conversion and supports confident decision making.

Smile design principles
Learn how to assess facial and dental aesthetics and modify design parameters to achieve either natural outcomes or a high impact Hollywood style result.

Motivational mock-ups
Use mock-ups to help patients visualise outcomes, confirm consent prior to preparation and allow the clinician to critically evaluate and refine the design.

Dental material biochemistry
Understand surface treatment protocols for silica based ceramics such as feldspathic, lithium disilicate and LiSi, as well as non silica materials including zirconia and metals. Explore immediate versus delayed dentine sealing and tooth surface preparation for predictable bonding.

Preparation design
A comprehensive overview of Type I to Type IV veneer preparations. Learn how to determine preparation depth, when to open contacts, incisal edge design, elbow preparations and strategies to effectively hide margins.

Soft tissue management
Explore surgical and non surgical crown lengthening techniques, including indications, execution and expected outcomes. Learn strategies for managing black triangles to optimise aesthetic results.

Impression techniques
Compare analogue and digital workflows, understanding the advantages, limitations and appropriate clinical applications of each.

Occlusion concepts
Understand traditional and contemporary occlusal philosophies and how they influence the longevity and predictability of porcelain veneer restorations.

Temporisation techniques
Learn three predictable temporisation methods with a focus on soft tissue management, ease of removal and minimising breakage.

Cementation protocols
Master isolation and soft tissue retraction techniques that minimise trauma. Understand when to bond versus lute restorations for optimal functional and aesthetic outcomes.

HOW YOU WILL LEARN

This program provides a structured and highly interactive learning environment, combining concise didactic lectures with extensive hands on clinical training. Throughout the course, a large and experienced faculty team is available to provide individual supervision, answer questions and ensure participants develop clarity, precision and confidence in applying these protocols to everyday clinical practice.

Practical components include

  • Prescribing smile designs across five patient cases, developing the ability to identify universally accepted aesthetic principles, recognise key diagnostic markers and communicate clear, predictable design parameters
  • Fabrication of custom putty keys, including incisal reduction, B plane reduction and ideal mock-up, to ensure precise translation of the planned outcome
  • Minimal preparation using the APT technique and preparation of twelve maxillary teeth, encompassing Type I through Type IV porcelain veneer preparations
  • Advanced temporisation techniques that are ultra cleansable , with a focus on soft tissue stability, durability and ease of maintenance

Saturday

πŸ•‘: 09:00 AM - 10:00 AM
The Consultation Proce

Info: A structured approach to new patient assessment for aesthetic cases, including comprehensive extra oral and intra oral examination, accurate record acquisition through photography, digital scanning or analogue impressions and radiographic analysis. The session focuses on effective case presentation, ethical case selection and strategies to improve case acceptance and treatment conversion.

πŸ•‘: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Smile Design

Info: An in depth exploration of universally accepted smile design principles, facial, dental and gingival parameters and how these influence aesthetic outcomes. Emphasis is placed on translating two dimensional concepts into predictable three dimensional results and clearly communicating the design to both patients and the laboratory.

πŸ•‘: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Motivational Mock-up

Info: A comprehensive lecture on the role of the motivational mock-up in aesthetic dentistry. Topics include case assessment, diagnostic validation, visual communication with patients, expectation management and confident case acceptance.

πŸ•‘: 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM
Material Science

Info: A focused review of contemporary ceramic materials and their clinical application in the aesthetic zone, including considerations for strength, translucency and bonding strategy.

πŸ•‘: 01:30 PM - 05:00 AM
Preparation Part 1

Info: An introduction to preparation planning and reduction control using both analogue and digital workflows. The session covers Type I additive and Type II reductive veneer preparations, with an emphasis on enamel preservation and precision.

Sunday

πŸ•‘: 09:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Preparation Part 2

Info: An advanced session covering Type III and Type IV complex preparation scenarios including cant correction, diastema management and crowding. The focus is on controlling tooth position, symmetry and emergence profile through precise preparation design, while maintaining biological and aesthetic integrity.

πŸ•‘: 12:00 PM - 01:00 PM
Soft tissue management

Info: A comprehensive exploration of the biological principles underpinning successful aesthetic dentistry. Topics include predictable soft tissue management, supra and subgingival contouring strategies, use of contouring guides, laser and conventional surgical approaches, gingival architecture, management of biological width and indications for crown lengthening.

πŸ•‘: 01:00 PM - 01:30 PM
Scanning / Impression techniques

Info: A detailed comparison of conventional impression techniques and digital workflows. This session examines the advantages and limitations of analogue versus digital approaches, along with a practical overview of current intraoral scanners available on the market and their clinical applications.

πŸ•‘: 01:30 PM - 02:30 PM
Temporisation

Info: A focused session on temporisation strategy and execution, covering when temporisation is indicated and how to provisionalise predictably without compromising soft tissue health. Emphasis is placed on achieving adequate retention, durability and consistency, allowing clinicians to minimise breakage and work with confidence throughout the provisional phase.
