Samba Rio is a band dedicated to the music of Brazil, from composers from the golden age of Bossa Nova. The band is made up of Curtis Woodbury (tenor sax, fiddle), Suzy Lind Nichols (Portuguese and English vocals), Kenji Aihara (Nylon String Guitar), Steve Erickson (Piano), Matt Larson (5 string Electric Bass), and Jay Lawrence (Drums). If you like the tasty flavors of tropical rhythms, sultry lush harmonies, memorable melodies, and masterful jazz improvisation, you'll love Samba Rio!
