Have you ever wondered how you excavate the bones of a king? This talk sets out the events of the excavation of the remains of Richard III and subsequent analysis. It describes the complicated variety of approaches that were needed in order to confirm the identity of the skeleton as Richard III, and discusses some of the things they were able to tell about his life and death from analysis of his bones.
