About the event
Designers are required to look at both micro and macro setup of a design. While designers work on detailed UI and flows at a micro level it becomes equally critical to zoom out and view those at scale to develop systems and frameworks.
At such levels algorithmic approaches help us to see the rules that drive these design patterns and build systems that self evolve and self correct.
In this conversation I take you through my journey of how I explored algorithms in the field of design early in my life as a student of architecture and later used it in design systems.
In most recent applications these algorithmic frameworks were used to build dynamic storefronts and content grids.

Shayak is a design leader with more than 15 years of experience in building and leading design teams. He brings a unique combination of corporate and entrepreneurial experience with a multidisciplinary expertise in the product innovation process.
Shayak is currently the Head of Design at Myntra. In his free time he enjoys doing illustrations playing the guitar and writing design raps.
