Hello Masters and Instructors,Tasmania in March is perhaps the most settled month weatherwise to visit the state, with autumn colours just starting to show and clear skies with 20C+ days. You can ask for an invitation to our National Championship that will be held in Hobart on the 22nd March 2026, on the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of the International Taekwon-Do Federation.
We offer you and your students the opportunity to participate in this event and celebrate with us this important date. The event will be held on the outskirts of Hobart in Newtown only a few KM's from the city centre. There is relatively inexpensive accommodation close to the venue and public transport passes the venue from the city.
Since the event will be held on Sunday, this provides the opportunity for participants who arrive early to visit the world-famous Salamanca Market on Saturday morning.
Saturday afternoon will see an umpire course held in our Dojang next to the venue to familiarise potential umpires and coaches with the rule set for the competition and to clarify any questions.
As indicated in the letter of invitation, competition rules and registration details for competitors, coaches and officials will be provided to interested participants.
Hopefully, the 6 month time frame will assist you to plan and fund-raise to attend this event.
