About this Event
Jacky is a former evolutionary biologist who studied evolutionary biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, graduating in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in ecology and evolution. Fascinated by nature and dinosaurs from a young age, she focused on vertebrate evolution during her studies. Now working as a jewelry artist, she continues to enjoy museums, fossil hunting, and learning about animals, often accompanied by her two bearded dragons, Charlie and Bobbi. She'll be discussing the the origin of vertebrates, phylogeny, and the comparative anatomy of different animals.
Doors open at 6:30 pm
Lecture 7-8 pm followed by Q&A
