Unleash the protective power of the Evil Eye, and use it as a tool to help you through your healing journey with this unique Talisman Making Workshop. Delve into the mystical world of this ancient symbol according to Mexican and Moroccan Folklore – believed to shield its carriers from malevolent forces and simultaneously harnessing healing and manifesting energies.
Go back in time before all current mainline religions, to understand the root of what's now a fashion trend. After a brief exploration of the Evil Eye, its history and its folklore, you will craft your own talisman!
This workshop will be led by Myristica Botanicals' Owner Yurintzi (She/Her).
Yurintzi is very passionate about the history, folklore and traditions surrounding the Evil Eye. Yurintzi Minored in Fine Arts while majoring in Mathematics. She also studied Folklore, Theology, and Mythology while obtaining her Masters in Mathematics and Optical Physics.
This Workshop is a DONATION-BASED EVENT, and all of the materials will be provided for your project.
